Becoming a KECCT Coach

The following provides information on the process to be followed to become a KECCT coach.
Pre-Requiste
The Trust requires that a KECCT coach has had a miminum of 60hrs of coaching training and coached clients for a minimum of 60hrs. The training should be recognised by a professional body such as the International Coaching Federation or European Coaching Institute. The Trust will also consider applicants that have come to coaching via other avenues such as counselling, or NLP
Step 1: Application by coach - complete the following 2 forms and read the code of ethics

Step 2: Review by Trustees
Step 3: Meets minimum standards and check references
Step 4: Assessment by Credentialed Coach for non-credentialed coaches
Step 5: Volunteer or Paid Coach - Coaches have a choice of working for the Trust for free, paid, or a mixture of both. If the coach only wants to coach for free then they need only sign the volunteer contract. If the coach does intend to get paid for some coaching then they should also sign the contract of employment.
